We have recently discovered a critical bug in the Epic Games Launcher. Plugins installed since the beginning of 2025 have a high probability of triggering Error IS-0009. Fortunately, the issue is relatively minor and can be easily resolved by downgrading the launcher version.

For users experiencing Error IS-0009, we recommend downgrading your Epic Games Launcher to version 18.0 or earlier.
